Our Values

  • We believe that Freedom is two-fold: a deep consciousness of our inherent liberation and the awareness of any and everything that stands in the way of embodying and expressing it.

  • We believe in co-creating authentic Community in partnership with those we serve and support.

  • We believe that Love is a commitment to humanity and calls us to nurture the spiritual development of ourselves and others. To us, spiritual development is the emotional, physical, mental, and psychic well-being of each community member.

  • We believe in welcoming all forms and expressions of Joy. We create space and opportunity for genuine smiles, laughter, connectedness, happiness, peace, ease, and delight.

  • We believe in helping others to Awaken their various ways of knowing and being. Therefore, we design personalized learning experiences to meet the various needs of those that we are serving. This value is the foundation of our name. Reveye (pronounced rēv- ai-yay) means “to awaken” in Haitian Creole, which is a nod to our founder’s cultural identity.

  • We center Creativity and acknowledge the guidance of Intuition. We value all of the layers of our creative selves. Each layer helps to generate new and productive ways of feeling, thinking and doing. We trust the creative force within ourselves as an inner guidance system.

  • We believe that we have a responsibility to create with Intentionality. We are mindful of everything we design, facilitate, and produce.

  • We believe in continuous learning and building Awareness. We see Awareness as the innate human ability to become more and more conscious of one’s self (personal awareness), others (social awareness), your community (societal/environmental awareness), and the world (global awareness).

  • We hold with Integrity a commitment to giving quality service and disrupting the belief that if you’re doing equitable, healing, and trauma-responsive work it is void of an appreciation of beauty and excellence.

Our CEO and Visionary Founder

Arlène Elizabeth Casimir is a Brooklyn-based educator, herbalist, consultant, and author who has spent the last 13 years honing her practice, research, and skills around healing centered pedagogy with a focus on literacy, trauma, spirituality, and social justice.

Her experiences teaching middle school in New York City, teaching elementary school in New Orleans- to the first students to come to school post-Hurricane Katrina - and working globally as a staff developer awakened her purpose to nurture the authentic core and inner teacher in others. Her classrooms have served as a lab site and model for transformative teaching. She created, designed, and implemented a culturally responsive, healing-centered, spiritually grounding, and trauma-informed curriculum for her students.

As a Brooklyn-born child of Hatian immigrants, Arlène recognizes the power of community, equity, literacy, and spiritual resilience to help others live with personal integrity, transcend their circumstances, and author their own lives. She enjoys supporting businesses, teachers, families, foundations, schools, and community organizations, both nationally and globally, to do the necessary inner work for equitable outer change. Arlène collaborates with her clients to co-create fierce learning spaces - imbued with a love ethic- that prioritize the humanity and well-being of each member. She works independently to offer professional and personal development. All of her clients and partners are values aligned.

In addition to founding Reveye, Arlène is the co-founder of Nurturing the Nurturers, a healing community for educators. She’s also the CEO and Founder of Lakay Lune, LLC, a wellness venture and tea company that honors her ancestral lineage through healing and herbalism practices. She is currently studying Clinical Psychology and Education with a concentration in Spirituality, Mind, Body Practices at Teachers College, Columbia University. When she’s not actively learning or working on a project, you can find Arlène spending quality time with her community, family, and friends, taking her inner child on an artist date, savoring a warm cup of tea, practicing various healing modalities, and/or traveling.
